CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
Pitches
1. Bookings are from 12 noon on day of arrival to 10am on day of departure.
2. A deposit of 25% will be required on confirmation of booking. The balance will need to be paid 4 weeks before the holiday date. If the booking is within 28 days of the arrival date, payment will be required in full.
3. The booking fee is an Administration charge and is not deductible. (Only charged on advanced bookings.)
4. We regret that we cannot guarantee any specific pitch, but will do our best to accommodate any requests.
5. Please note that there is no guarantee that pitches can be extended beyond the date booked.
6. Pitches, although paid for must be claimed and occupied within 24 hours of the due time of arrival. The Management reserves the right to re-let the accommodation after 24 hours unless prior advice of delayed arrival has been received. Please let us know if you are going to be late.
7. A Charge of £10 will be made for any cheques returned by the bank.
STATIC CARAVANS
1. Bookings are from 4pm on day of arrival to 10am on day of departure.
2. Pets are only allowed in some Duchy Holiday homes.
3. No pets are to be left unattended on site in Homes. Pet baskets / bedding must be supplied and used by the pets owners.
4. The number of persons occupying a Home must not exceed the number of stated berths.
5. The holiday accommodation must, if booked, be paid for at least 6 weeks before the date of arrival or we reserve the right to re-let the accommodation.
6. All equipment and linen must remain in the Home.
7. Bookings for Holiday Homes are strictly for the persons named on the booking form. Any changes must be notified to the Management who reserve the right to cancel the booking.
8. The booking fee is an Administration charge and is not deductible.

Site Conditions
1. For children’s safety a speed limit of 5mph applies to the whole site and we ask drivers to keep to the roads and not drive on the grass at any time except when gaining access to their pitch or holiday accommodation.
2. THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY OR TO EJECT FROM THE PARK ANY PERSONS, WHO IN THE MANAGEMENT’S OPINION ARE UNSUITABLE, OR WHO CAUSES NUISANCE OR DISTURBANCE TO OTHER VISITORS OR STAFF ON THE PARK.
3. In the event of the home or touring pitch offered and booked in good faith not being available due to storm, fire, non-completion or other such causes beyond the control of the Company, Walker Leisure is relieved of all responsibility and financial liability.
4. Persons using Monkey Tree Holiday Park and its facilities do so at their own risk. The Park will not be liable to any persons for personal injury or loss or damage to property, however caused or sustained.
5. Some amenities may be reduced or curtailed according to circumstances and in early and late season some facilities/entertainment may not be available.
6. Radios and televisions must be kept at low volume and must not be audible outside the owners’ tent or home.
7. The swimming pool is closed at 8pm and is not supervised. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children at all times. Management reserve the right to withdraw access to this facility when deemed necessary.
8. In the interest of others, we ask that there be no noise after
12 midnight. Anyone causing a disturbance after this time
will immediately be asked to leave the site without a refund.
9. The Park gate is closed between 12 Midnight & 7.00am. No vehicle movements are allowed between these times unless in an emergency. Persons coming on to the Park between these times must park in the overnight area provided.
10. Visitors or clients staying at Monkey Tree Holiday Park must be aware that the Park Management accept no liability for any damage to cars, vehicles, motorhomes, homes or personal property brought onto the Park. The Park also accepts no liability for any valuables lost or stolen. Dogs: As a matter of hygiene and consideration to others
1. If owners wish to bring their dogs on site we have a designated walking area for exercising. Dogs are only allowed within this area.
2. Dogs are to be kept on leads at all times.
3. All owners must clean up after their dogs and use bins provided.
4. Dogs are not allowed within the children’s play area or swimming pool area.
5. We regret that any dog owners failing to adhere to these rules will be asked to leave the site immediately without a refund.
Holiday Cancellation Insurance
Walker Leisure insurance commences immediately upon receipt of your booking form, deposit and insurance premium. The insurance provides for full reimbursement of all monies paid to Walker Leisure (excluding the Cancellation and Booking fee) in the event of the whole booking being cancelled up until the time of notification of the cancellation, or your arrival at the Park to commence your holiday. You and all your members named on the booking form are covered by the insurance.
Monkey Tree Holiday Park’s Holiday Cancellation Scheme payment must be made with your deposit. For this premium Monkey Tree Holiday Park will refund all monies paid (excluding the Cancellation and Booking Fees) provided we receive written confirmation of cancellation of the entire party at least 6 weeks before the commencement of your holiday. Between 6 weeks prior to arrival and your arrival date, Monkey Tree Holiday Park will only refund if cancellation is due to the following:
1. Death of a member of the party
2. Serious illness
3. Redundancy of any of the members of the booked party
The insurance premium will be added to your holiday cost and will need to be forwarded with your deposit.
The premiums are as follows:
Basic Holiday Price Premium
Up to £100 £5
Up to £200 £10
Up to £300 £15
Up to £500 £20
£600 plus £25
Any claim must be in writing and be supported by the necessary documention ie. doctors certificate, confirmation from previous employer etc.
The Holiday Cancellation Scheme covers you until you arrive on site after which refunds cannot be given for any reason should you decide to leave early. No refunds will be made on any bookings if the party has not taken up the Park’s Holiday Cancellation Scheme.
Exclusions
Wilfully self-inflicted injury, intoxicating liquor or drugs, other than drugs taken in accordance with treatment prescribed and directed by a qualified medical practitioner, wilfully self-inflicted illness. All events which prevent you from taking the holiday must:
1. occur after the acceptance of your booking
2. relate to yourself and the named members of your
party as stated on the booking form. If cancellation occurs you will be asked to supply supporting documentary evidence.
