Our talented in-house entertainment team is on hand to ensure you enjoy every second of your holiday.
With multiple venues across the park, there’s entertainment to suit every age and interest. From chilled acoustic sets in the early evening sun to party dances, bingo, interactive family fun, and nightly headline live performances.
During peak season, there are extra activities such as football tournaments, dodgeball, basketball and more.
There’s plenty of themed events to choose throughout the year too; whether you’re keen to get involved or happy to kick back and relax, at Monkey Tree Holiday Park, the choice is yours.

Peak Season Activities Schedule
Funky’s Funtime
A Monkey Tree favourite, Funky’s Funtime kicks off the evening entertainment every evening at 6.30pm with mini gameshows, high-energy fun and a special appearance from Funky Monkey himself.
It’s the perfect way to start your night as a family and one of the most memorable parts of the holiday for many of our younger guests (and a fair few grown-ups too). On select nights during peak season, Funky’s Funtime also features dedicated kids’ shows to keep little ones fully entertained.
Toddler Time
Designed especially for under 5s and their grown-ups, Toddler Time is a relaxed and engaging session that runs every morning during season.
Activities vary by day and may include music and movement with Funky Monkey, messy games, arts and crafts, meet and greets and free play. There’s also the option to enjoy breakfast with Funky Monkey (charges may apply).
No booking required – just turn up and join the fun every morning at 10am
Creative Fun
Each day at 12pm, we run a hands-on activity session that offers even more fun for crafty kids and creative minds. These six paid activities rotate throughout the week and are available during the season.
Activities include pottery painting, bird box making, sand art and interactive workshops. Sessions are open to all (subject to availability), and small charges apply. These are bookable via the guest portal once your stay is confirmed.
Evenings
During peak season (Whitsun and summer holidays), join us in Summer Nights Bar from 6pm where our early evening entertainment takes place, creating a lively and family-friendly setting with space to relax with the family.
For something more laid-back, the Beach Club Bar hosts live acoustic music from 7pm, perfect for a drink overlooking Palm Bay. From 9pm onwards, the Main Act takes to the stage, think live bands, tribute acts, magic and illusion shows, and themed party nights.
Outside peak season, all entertainment takes place in the Beach Club.
Meet Funky Monkey
Funky Monkey is the friendly face everyone loves at Monkey Tree Holiday Park. As soon as you arrive, he welcomes you with dancing and cheerful meet-and-greets.
In addition, Funky Monkey is a true online star with millions of YouTube views. His catchy moves and playful personality make him a favourite both on-site and online. So, whether you’re meeting him in person or watching him on screen, he always brings joy to your day.

Cornwall Tribute Festival
One of the biggest highlights of the year is the Cornwall Tribute Festival, hosted right here at Monkey Tree Holiday Park.
Expect a huge atmosphere, multiple stages, and some of the UK’s best tribute acts, all with full access to the park’s facilities and family entertainment programme.
